Tina and her 7-week old baby are looking for a new place to live. They will be ready to move after their operations on March 18. (These are two of the several dogs rescued from unspeakable conditions in David about a month ago.) Two of Tina's puppies died of malnutrition because Tina was herself so malnourished that her milk provided no nutrients for her puppies. She is an attentive and affectionate mom. The puppy is developing quite a personality and she is very sweet and loves people, though she is little shy around strangers. She is, now and then, a little bossy.

Tina is a serious watch dog and will be great at announcing 'visitors'. She is very protective of her people and territory, and she is very energetic now that she's had extra nutrition and vitamins for the past several weeks. She's probably less than two years old herself, and often acts very much like a puppy. She loves playing with her baby and understands that she must be gentle with her. Tina is smart, curious and athletic. With love, training and patience she would make a winning agility competition dog.

Much appreciation goes to Dr. Chely and Carmencita for helping me provide extra nutritious food and vitamins, as well as the elimination of parasites on both mama dog and puppy.

It would be great if Tina and her puppy could find a home together.

You can meet Tina and puppy at my place or at the March 18 Spay-Neuter Clinic.
I cannot keep either dog beyond the March 18 clinic.
