Tina is desperately in need of a home... with other dogs. If you have a dog and some space, I will be glad to put up a large pen in it for Tina, so that she will have the company of other dogs. She will be so happy with company. She was undoubtedly raised with many other dogs, and the human contact she encountered was minimal and cruel, so she's wary and frightened most of the time. She's learned to trust me and can learn to trust another patient and kind person over time.

Tina is still at the boarding kennel in David, happier than at my place because of dog-company at the kennel. She will be at the spay clinic on Sunday, looking for a home. To remind you, she is territorial and protective. She is aggressive if she feels threatened. She is also cute, energetic, agile, very smart, and has a great personality! She just needs the right place to live.
Tina, who is probably about two years old, is a short haired mixed breed, about 15" high at the shoulder. She's learned to ride in a car and she knows about going on a leash.
If you have space, or if you know of anyone who has space for a pen for Tina, please let me know. If you have neighbors with a dog or dogs, please ask if they would accept this arrangement. Maybe you know someone with a farm or space in the country. Maybe someone with chickens or other animals would appreciate a good watch dog in an adjacent pen.
I've had Tina since February 3, when, as a result of frantic emails sent out begging for help with several dogs rescued from terrible conditions in David, I agreed to take her in TEMPORARILY. Little did I know that finding a home for her would be so extremely difficult. I can't keep her in my small apartment. My yard is not secure and she cannot run loose.
Anything you can do to help find a happy home for her will be so much appreciated.
