More recalled pet food - some Royal Canin U.S. products (don't know if this is what is sold at Melo, or if that Royal Canin comes from someplace else). The Chinese company that contaminated the wheat and rice gluten did it deliberately. It turns out they added melamine to make the gluten appear to have a higher protein content. Melamine contains nitrogen, which is the indicator chemical that labs use to test for protein content.

Along with this announcement, Royal Canin USA will no longer use any Chinese suppliers for any of our vegetable proteins.
