Since moving to Brisas Boquetenos 2 years ago, we have been adopted by a panamanian dog who arrives at our door each morning for his breakfast. This morning, my husband and I were greeted with a forlorn looking little face covered with porcupine quills. Then the pursuit for a vet began. We called our good friends Tom and Bev Stearn, who in turn called Jenny and Paul at Paradise Gardens who in turn called Dr. Crespo who lives in Volcan. (the vets in Boquete were unavailable.)
Dr. Crespo agreed to travel to our house from Volcan and look after "Orso". This letter is to thank all involved in the "Porcupine Quill Saga" and especially Dr. Crespo who expertly and gently removed over 50 quills from our scared little friends face. I am pleased to say that Orso is recovering and is now sleeping off the tranquilizer effects on our sofa.. If any readers are in need of vet services, we highly recommend Dr. Crespo. 6480-7273.
