There seems to be a lot of conflicting information about the current requirements for bringing in pets. Before you start the process of gathering your documentation, be sure to call the Panamanian consulate or embassy in your country and ask them to send you the requirements. Also make sure you have the requirements of the airline you are using.
If anybody has gone through this process recently (Summer 2008), would you be so kind as to list what documents you needed and anything else you had to do? There is a rumor that the 10 day limit between the date of the health certificate and your date of arrival has been extended to 30 days, but I can't find anything definite.
