Thank you for contacting Panama Pet Relocation at http://www.panamapetrelocation.com
If you go to this website and click on: "About Us"....you can read Mario Vilar's extensive resume and background. Impressive!

SERVICE FOR CATS AND DOGS ARRIVING IN PANAMA:
1. Request of home quarantine authorization to the Panamanian Authorities one week before arrival date.
2. Meeting pet at the airport and take care of paperwork and payments to release pet the same day of arrival avoiding airport quarantine.
3. Online assistance while client is getting documents required in country of departure.

PROCEDURE:
1. Complete the following form ONLY if you already have a travel date http://www.panamapetrelocation.com/contactus_1.html
2. Get a health certificate for your pet and rabies shot records. For the US, this is a document from the USDA. Ask the vet for details.
3. Get the health certificate authenticated by a Panamanian Consulate. Rabies shot records don't need to be authenticated.
For Canada, a stamp from Foreign Affairs is required prior to the authentication.
Ask the Panamanian Consulate for details. An alternative for the authentication is to get an "apostille". In the U.S., you get documents apostilled at the Secretary of State's office, usually located in the state capitol (I've done it this way - it's faster and less expensive, more reliable).
4. Fax or e-mail us a copy of the health certificate, rabies shot records, authentication from the Panamanian Consulate or "apostille" and your passport's information page. Fax number 011-507-223-1217
5. Once you fax or email the info, call us at 011-507-6619-6964 to make a credit card payment over the phone for our service fees. Expenses will not be charged.
You can also send us your credit card information by completing the following form http://www.movetopanama.com/ssl/for_payment.html
6. On the arrival date we will meet pets at the airport to have them released. Expenses will be paid directly to the airport authorities. Bring cash only and small bills for expenses. Credit cards or travel checks are not accepted by the airport authorities. If pets are traveling alone, expenses need to be paid in advance along with the service fees.
